Beyond the Breed
Meet Pumpkin
She's a Great Dane. Which means strangers see her coming from half a block away, and sometimes, they step aside.
What they don't see: Pumpkin is genuinely convinced she's a lap dog. She wedges her enormous frame into spaces clearly designed for dogs a quarter her size. She needs to be touching her person at all times.
And she's deeply, sincerely terrified of feathers. Not birds. Just feathers. Floating ones are the worst.
Pumpkin is exactly the kind of dog these sessions are for. The ones whose size or breed invites assumptions that have nothing to do with who they actually are.
